Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) in Laguna Hills

Structured, Full-Day Mental Health Treatment While You Return Home Each Day

Sometimes weekly therapy isn’t enough, but around-the-clock residential care isn’t the right fit either. A Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) bridges that gap. It offers intensive, structured mental health treatment during the day, then lets you go home in the evening to your own space, your family, and your routines.

At California Care Recovery, our mental health PHP in Laguna Hills combines individual and group therapy, psychiatric care, and holistic support in a warm, welcoming setting. It’s designed for people who need a high level of care while staying connected to everyday life.

What Is a Partial Hospitalization Program?

A Partial Hospitalization Program is the most intensive level of outpatient mental health care. Our PHP meets 5 days a week for 4 hours a day, giving you consistent, structured support while you live at home. Each week includes 2 individual therapy sessions and a visit with a doctor, so your care team can closely monitor your progress and adjust your plan as needed.

Many people enter PHP as a step down after mental health residential treatment, while others start here when their symptoms need more support than traditional outpatient care can offer.

PHP may be a good fit if you:

  • Need more support than weekly therapy provides
  • Are stepping down from residential or inpatient mental health care
  • Have a safe, stable home to return to each day
  • Are experiencing symptoms that make work, school, or daily life difficult
  • Want structured treatment without living on-site
